DNA Basketball Academy

DNA Basketball Academy was started in 2019 by Coach Daphne Honma.  After coaching at both the high school and college levels she decided to give back to the community and DNA Basketball Academy was started. 

DNA Basketball Academy primarily works with youth on the northern part of the Big Island mainly from Waimea and Honoka’a.  Recently it has expanded to include some kids on the Hilo side of the Big Island as well as Kaua’i.

DNA Basketball Academy is not just committed to teaching the youth of the Big Island about the game of basketball, but also teaching them tools through the game of basketball that will help them to excel in life.
